Returning from a Hawaiian vacation, Lisa and her children found an unexpected squatter in their home. Before leaving, Lisa had asked her sister, Emily, to look after their dogs and agreed to let Emily’s friend, Mark, stay for one night. However, Mark overstayed and settled into Lisa’s bedroom.

Lisa was alarmed to find Mark lounging in her bed. “What are you doing here?” she demanded. Mark replied, “I needed to stay a bit longer. I’m job hunting in LA.” When Lisa insisted he leave, Mark refused, claiming Emily had extended his stay.

Police arrived but informed Lisa that evicting him would require a formal process. Frustrated, Lisa devised a plan with Emily. They packed Mark’s belongings and left them outside while locking the doors. When Mark returned and tried to get back in, he was met with resistance.

Eventually, police arrested Mark for an outstanding warrant. Lisa felt immense relief as her home was restored to peace.
