Mariana, 57, cherished memories of her late husband George. However, her world was shattered, not just by his death, but by her stepdaughter Susan’s demands for his assets. “Susan barely visited George in his final days, then demanded, ‘How many more days does he have left to live?’” Mariana recalled. After George passed, Susan shockingly skipped the funeral and later showed up demanding all of George’s assets. Mariana stood firm, refusing to sign over anything.
