Jenn Tran, 26, was left devastated after her engagement to Devin Strader ended just months after “The Bachelorette” finale. Fans believe she chose the wrong man and that another contestant, Jonathon Johnson, would have been a better fit.
Tran proposed to Strader during the show’s Hawaii finale, saying, “I thought I had found who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.” However, after leaving Hawaii, Strader distanced himself and eventually ended their engagement over a brief phone call, confessing, “I didn’t love you anymore.”
Confronting Strader on the “After the Final Rose” episode, Tran questioned his commitment and accused him of never fully wanting a future with her. Fans expressed outrage, many stating she should have picked Johnson instead.
Reflecting on his time with Tran, Johnson said, “Maybe we’re just really good friends… It just wasn’t as strong for the two of us, and that’s okay.”
